About me

Hi, I'm Charlotte Mackay.

I set up Mackay Interiors in 2018 after studying with the Interior Design Institute.

I've always had a keen fascination with interior Design. From my first Georgian townhouse doll's house, to my teen years watching Changing Rooms with Linda Barker and Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen, to renovating a 400 year old cottage in 2016, I have always loved interiors and home furnishings. Creating  interesting and beautiful spaces has always excited me; a place that can make you feel whatever you want to feel with the right furniture, lighting and ideas. Whether it's a cosy, country living room, a kitchen which makes for a great party space or a tranquil, stylish bedroom where you can't wait to dive into bed each night, the ideas are endless.

I am not just interested in my own style and design, I'm interested in yours and using what you like, enhancing it and adding to it. My aim is to make you think more openly about colour and design and to push your ideas; to inspire and help you create a home or business you are ultimately proud to live in and happy to show off.

I know it can feel like a daunting process but I'm here to make your life a bit easier.
